BIOGRAPHY

Ed started drawing and coloring at an early age. Later, he was encouraged by his high school art teacher to consider art as a career. He attended and graduated from Pratt Institute. And then worked in several capacities for a large cosmetic company in New York City, helping to develop their packaging. During this time he also managed a handful of oil paintings, some stain glass work and home renovation. But always in the back of his mind was the desire to spend more time on the oil painting. Happily, a few years ago he had the opportunity to more seriously pursue this goal. This website displays some of the results of that effort. On a personal note, Ed is married to Mary Chin Greninger, a realtor. They reside in Jackson, NJ and have two lovely grown daughters and a granddaughter.
